Happy New Year - 2015
What a wonderful time I had last night (December 31) and this morning with Kinrara Metta Buddhist Society - Kuala Lumpur! We started with one hour New Year Eve Puja and Paritta Chanting at 8.30 p.m. followed by my Dhamma Talk at 9.30 p.m. Then I conducted a Metta meditation for half an hour before transferring and sharing our merits with all the others including departed ones. We welcomed the New Year 2015 in a brand new fashion with everyone in a circle with candle lights while the Maha Sangha chanted blissful short Paritta again.
Early morning today after the breakfast at 7 a.m. we went for a morning Pindapata (Alms Round which is an ancient practice by the Buddhist monks right from the Buddha's day) at a public market place. It was a very pleasant day with no rain and beautiful weather. It was such a great experience how the people lined up on knees and offered the requisites to the Sangha. Loads of little kids were very enthusiastic in joining the great merit. Following the Pindapata round, we took a group photo and returned to the KMBS and soon there were lots of Buddhist devotees and together again we chanted Paritta followed by my Dhamma Talk. The Maha Sangha blessed the gathering and proceeded for the Dana (lunch). Immediately after lunch, we came down and blessed each and everyone gathered there with blessed paritta strings. So, by the time, I returned to the Buddhist Maha Vihara, it was around 1.30 p.m.
Then, I took a short nap immediately in order to get ready for my next Dhamma talk tonight at Sentul Temple. On January 2nd, I am delivering a Dhamma talk at Buddhist Maha Vihara and on January 3rd from 7 a.m. to 7p.m. a special Eight Precept Program will be conducted by me at the BMV. All those who are interested in joining, are most welcome. There will be a number of various spiritual activities lined up for you. On Sunday January 4th there will be another Dhamma talk by me at BMV followed by a 3 consecutive Dhamma talks at Chempaka Buddhist Lodge.
So, it would be a promising New Year 2015 with so much of blessings. I am truly happy that I could share my thoughts on the Dhamma with many people in different parts of Malaysia. I feel myself much more blessed and much more happier.
Wish you all my relatives, friends, Dhamma brothers and sisters a brand New Year 2015 with a promising fortunes, Peace, Happiness, Long Life, Good Health, Prosperity and the best of Spirit along with loads of Positive Energy all throughout the YEAR 2015 so that you can achieve your dreams and goals.
Thank you all those who made my life colorful in many ways than one. I really appreciate and sincerely salute and respect you for all your wonderful gestures and well wishes all throughout.
Thanks again. Sadhu! Sadhu!! Sadhu!!!
